Of Faith and Faithfulness
Walk the halls of Hebrews 11 and meet the men and women whose faith shaped history. From Abraham to Rahab, from Moses to unnamed martyrs, their stories still speak to us today, reminding us that faith isn't just for the past, but for every step of our lives. Join us this summer as our MDPC Pastors and seminarians explore the lives of those who trusted God against all odds and discover what their legacy means for our faith today.

The Gospel In Ruth
The book of Ruth quietly yet powerfully reveals the heart of the Gospel through its themes of redemption, grace, and restoration. In Boaz, we see a foreshadowing of Christ—the kinsman-redeemer who rescues with compassion and integrity. Ruth, a foreigner and outsider, is welcomed into God’s covenant family, pointing to the radical inclusion offered through Jesus. The story moves from loss to new life, mirroring the Gospel’s promise of restoration and hope. Saturated with hesed—steadfast, sacrificial love—Ruth ultimately points beyond itself to the coming of a King, tracing the lineage that leads to Christ, the Redeemer of all.

Beautifully Broken
Beautifully Broken is a journey through 2 Corinthians, Paul’s most personal and vulnerable letter. Writing to a church riddled with conflict, confusion, and spiritual immaturity, Paul doesn’t sugarcoat the mess—but he also doesn’t give up on them. Instead, he reminds them (and us) that God does His most powerful work through weakness, humility, and honesty. In a world obsessed with appearances and strength, 2 Corinthians offers a radically different vision: a church that may be cracked and imperfect, yet is still called, loved, and useful in the hands of a gracious God. Pastor Alf will work verse-by-verse through 2 Corinthians beginning Sun, Oct 5.
