Bless Friday® is a movement to honor Christ by starting the Christmas season with service. MDPC is honored to be a part of the transformation of Black Friday, a national shopping phenomenon, into Bless Friday, a spirit-filled service day.

Below are a few opportunities for participation, but, if you don’t find an activity either here or on the Bless Friday website that fits, please allow the Spirit to lead you to a need in your community!

AniMeals is an Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston program that delivers pet food and treats to the disabled adults and homebound elderly clients that Meals on Wheels serves so they do not feel compelled to share their limited food and resources with their pets. You can help these 1,300 cats and dogs!
Directions:
Fill snack bags with your dog's/cat's favorite TREAT and label the bag for a dog or cat.
*Please make sure bags are closed and sealed correctly so they do not open in transit.

Neighbor Blessing

Do you know a neighbor who is alone, recovering from illness, or is elderly or homebound? Consider making or picking up a meal, and bring it to them along with an encouraging note or prayer to remind them they are not forgotten and loved by God.
