Julie joined the MDPC staff in December 2023.  She is a native Houstonian and University of Houston graduate with a degree in communication disorders.  From 1996 – 2020, Julie worked with children ages birth to 3 years with various disabilities through Early Childhood Intervention of Texas and Easter Seals of Greater Houston.  Soon after, she was brought on by Memorial Drive United Methodist Church as the Special Needs Ministry Coordinator.  This led to the opportunity with a fellow church member to assist in creating Together at Mikey’s place, a vocational day program that provides meaningful and dignified work for adults with special needs.  Outside of her professional career, Julie enjoys the outdoors and trips to Colorado with her husband, Greg.  They have 2 children, Trace and Rylie, both UT longhorns!  Hook em!
