Lenora joined the MDPC staff in March 2024 as Preschool Ministries Director. Lenora holds an associate degree in Christian Education, a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and a master’s degree in Education. While living in Brazil, Lenora worked as Children’s Director in a Presbyterian church, and she specialized in teaching the Bible to children and training volunteer teachers in churches. In the US she worked for a corporation as a trainer and later as a manager for Training and Quality. After moving to Houston, Lenora worked in public schools with special education and later as a school education manager in a private preschool. Coming to work in a church after many years in the corporate environment is like coming back to what Lenora loves doing the most, sharing the gospel with children.

Lenora is married to Hilton who used to be a pastor in Brazil. They have been blessed with three children, 2 sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren.

She greatly enjoys spending time with friends and family. Painting, writing, and singing are some things she likes to do, and traveling is always something good to wait for.
