Leigh McLeroy joined MDPC in August, 2019, and the Adult Discipleship staff in early 2023 as Teacher and Writer-in-Residence. She has served as an active elder, Bible study teacher and workshop/retreat facilitator for Adult Discipleship, Caring, and Women’s Ministries during her time at MDPC. Leigh is a published author of five books and has helped a number of other Christian leaders shape their messages into books as well. Prior to joining MDPC staff she led a thriving writing and consulting business serving faith-based and non-profit clients, but you may know her as the invisible author of a weekly email devotional called Wednesday Words. Leigh holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University, an MA in Cultural Apologetics from Houston Christian University, and is a trained Spiritual Director.
