Internships

Youth Summer Internship

The Youth Summer Intern Program runs from May 18 - August 3, 2025. Each summer, the MDPC Youth ministry hires 4 summer interns to work alongside our middle and high school students and to learn more about what it's like to work in ministry. Having our interns is a major part of our summer program and our students look forward to spending time with them.

The two main purposes of the MDPC Youth Summer Intern Program are:

  • To provide an opportunity for learning and training for future ministry.
  • To encourage middle school and high school students to trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior and to become involved in the life, worship, and mission of Christ's church.

Children's Ministries

Each summer, MDPC Children’s Ministries hires 4 interns to work along side our team as we minister to preschool and elementary aged children and their families. Interns play an important role in planning and implementing Children’s Ministries’ summer programming and the kids look forward to spending time with our awesome interns each summer!

The purpose of the Children’s Ministries Summer Internship program is as follows:

  • To provide an opportunity for learning, training, and discernment for future vocational and volunteer ministry with children and families
  • An opportunity to develop relationships with the MDPC children and families that impact their faith development and church experiences

The High School Outreach Director will work with the Director of Youth Ministries, youth staff, and volunteer youth leaders to cultivate a community that values relationships, longs to be transformed by Jesus Christ, and seeks to live as people sent by God. Part-time Positions

The Residency at MDPC

The Residency is a one-year program for men and women with a clear call to vocational ministry. We use practical learning, hands-on ministry, and mentoring by a pastor or department director as a platform for each resident’s spiritual and leadership development. Click here to learn more and apply.

Special Needs Coordinator

The Special Needs Coordinator is a part-time position on the Children’s Ministries Team at MDPC. The person in this position is responsible for leading Sunday School and Wednesday night Bible study for children with special needs and coordinating respite events, camps, and other Christ-centered programming supporting children with disabilities and their families. Child Care Plus Caregiver

The Child Care Plus program at MDPC seeks to support families as they raise their children to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ. MDPC seeks to hire loving, energetic caregivers to work in our nursery and preschool ministries on Sunday mornings and weekdays.
