Work at MDPC

Why Work at MDPC?

At Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, we offer a robust benefits package because we care about our team’s well-being—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But beyond that, we provide a work environment that fosters purpose, connection, and growth. This is a supportive community that makes us more than just coworkers; we’re family. We celebrate together, pray together, and lift each other up. And, we understand work life balance, offering flexibility when possible.

MDPC expects that all staff members will have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, a growing spiritual life, and an active faith. For questions about employment opportunities and benefits at MDPC, contact Amy Layman at  or call 713-490-9249. Current openings are listed below.

Youth Ministries Internship

The Youth Summer Intern Program runs from May 18 - August 3, 2025. Each summer, the MDPC Youth ministry hires 4 summer interns to work alongside our middle and high school students and to learn more about what it's like to work in ministry. Having our interns is a major part of our summer program and our students look forward to spending time with them.

The two main purposes of the MDPC Youth Summer Intern Program are:

  • To provide an opportunity for learning and training for future ministry.
  • To encourage middle school and high school students to trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior and to become involved in the life, worship, and mission of Christ's church.
